Brief biography
Economist, currently serving as Associate Economic Affairs Officer in the Natural Resources Division of ECLAC. In this role, he contributes to the design and analysis of public policies for the sustainable management of non-renewable resources, with a special focus on mining and critical minerals. Throughout his career at ECLAC, he has participated in various regional workshops and seminars, including initiatives on sustainability in the supply chain of medium-scale mining in Chile, in collaboration with agencies such as Enami, Cochilco, and national governments. His work helps to strengthen institutional frameworks, promote competitiveness, and reduce the social and environmental impacts of the extractive sector.
