Nanno Mulder
Brief biography
Head of the International Trade Unit in the International Trade and Integration Division of ECLAC. His main research and technical assistance topics are global value chains in general and global services in particular, digital trade and e-commerce, and sustainable trade with three focuses (internationalization of SMEs, gender gaps, and circular economy). Mr. Mulder served as an economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), on the Latin America team of the Economics Department (2002–2005), and as a researcher at the French Center for Prospective Studies and International Information (CEPII) (1996–2002). He holds a master's degree and a doctorate in economics from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
