Brief biography

Economist from the University of Atlántico in Colombia. Master's degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Los Andes in Colombia and the University of Maryland, United States. PhD in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Since 2010, he has served as an Economic Affairs Officer in the Climate Change Economics Unit of the Sustainable Development and Human Settlements Division at ECLAC. He has extensive experience in research and public policy addressing the challenges of climate change, carbon pricing instruments, sustainable transport, and the environmental impacts on health.
