Brief biography

Economist from UNAM and Master in Economics from CIDE. Economic Affairs Officer at the Climate Change Economics Unit of ECLAC since 2009. Works on estimating the socioeconomic impacts of climate change and on the design and evaluation of policies for the transition to low-carbon economies. Has participated in technical assistance and capacity-building activities in various countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Has several publications on the economics of climate change in the region. Co-author of the book: The Climate Change Emergency in Latin America and the Caribbean: Are We Still Waiting for the Catastrophe or Moving to Action?
